Quantico Innovation Center
The Quantico Innovation Center (QuIC), located along the Washington, D.C. to Fredericksburg I-95 technology corridor, is home to the next generation of entrepreneurs serving government and commercial clients, predominantly in the industries of cyber security, big data analytics, and cloud services. The mission of the QuIC is to incubate and accelerate these vital small businesses through networking and business development opportunities as they build from the ground up.
To further the mission, QuIC has developed a cadre of experienced mentors who guide members as they fill in the gaps in their expertise needed to develop a successful business. QuIC also connects ambitious, tenured companies by connecting them to entrepreneurs with expertise in new technologies or lines of business.
QuIC’s proximity to MCB Quantico gives access to not only the “Crossroads of the Marine Corps,” but agencies including:
- Defense Intelligence Agency
- Drug Enforcement Administration training academy
- FBI Academy
- FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT)
- FBI Laboratory
- Naval Criminal Investigative Service Headquarters
- Army CID Headquarters
- AFOSI Headquarters
QuIC’s access to these agencies allows members to gain recognition for developing the technologies supporting national defense and commercial security missions. The center’s business development services, prime location and network of resources and contacts provide fertile ground for business growth.
